About the event
Noseriding is the ultimate longboarding manoeuvre and some surfers make it look sooo easy. If you've tried, you probably know that it is not as easy as it looks! You might ask yourself "How the heck is this possible?!".
With almost 8 years of practice in longboarding, 3 silver medals in the Canadian Championships, participating international competitions, Lydia is bringing us together to share her knowledge. She believes that surfing should be fun, and it’s even more fun when you can progress!
In this in depth surfing theory class, you will learn about longboarding styles, equipment choice, wave choice, different types of take-offs, cross-step techniques, and of course noseriding.
As the Ripcurl Pro is approaching, she will also include for the first time some competition preparation, tips and advice on how to navigate your first surf competition.
This workshop welcomes all levels of surfers, even if you are still new to it, or have been surfing for 20 years, you will come out of this event knowing a little bit more!
