Ivan Hartle

Ivan Hartle is a musician from Vancouver, B.C. Eliciting vintage vibes, his fluid genre has elements of soul, jazz, blues, and folk. Ivan draws inspiration from the classic soul sounds of Sam Cooke and Otis Redding, to new age artists like Gary Clark Jr., John Mayer, Leon Bridges, and Amos Lee. Performing both as a band and solo, Ivan's memorable live act is characterized by melodic grooves and strong, soulful vocals.

Ivan has played at many historic Vancouver venues like The Imperial, Biltmore, Fox Cabaret, Guilt & Co., Railway Club, Anza Club, among others. He's also toured Western Canada, with shows in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver Island, and more. Some highlights include opening for Jon and Roy (Jan. 2020), performing in North Vancouver's 2021 Shipyards Festival (amongst artists like Bedouin Soundclash and The Zola's), and an upcoming headlining show at the McPherson Theatre in Victoria on Nov. 18th 2022.

Ivan's received national CBC radio airplay (You Got Me, More to Find), and the Netherlands' national NPO radio 2 (You Got Me). Garnering over 670k+ streams on Spotify to date (420k+ for “Feelin’ Like”, 61k+ for "Shine", 47k+ for “You Got Me”), Ivan’s poised for continued growth with upcoming releases in 2022.
